WILL + CLEO

It was a glorious summers day in rural Lincolnshire, the sun was shining, the birds were singing and the horses feet were clippity clopping along the road. It was on this perfect day that Cleo and Will became Mr & Mrs Peacock!

Cleo had approached us about creating some wedding stationery and various other items for their big day. She wanted something very specific and non of our ‘off the shelf’ themes were quite right so we created a couple of options and then narrowed it down, tweaked a few bits and came to the final design. They wanted something very simple with a rustic feel.

The reception was held in the garden at Cleo’s mothers house. A wonderful chocolate box thatched cottage with wild flowers and stone outbuildings filling the gorgeous grounds, the horse paddocks at the back and the incredible yurt sat alongside the swimming pool.

The yurt was beautiful with its traditional wooden structure and star lined floor! The reception breakfast was three courses of delicious sharing food so we suggested napkin favours that doubled up as a menu so everyone knew what each element was. These were folded up and placed with a peacock feather under each set of cutlery.

A few tear jerking speeches, the cutting of the 3 tiered cake, the first dance played by a 20 piece band (yes 20!) and plenty of Moet to go around a real party was had by all. Then at 10pm the huge doors to one of the barns opened and a secret nightclub came to life with international DJ, sofa area, even more cocktails (this time even stronger!) and the biggest glitter ball ever seen. We created ply board bar menu’s for BAR.n (get it!) that were hung from the tall ceilings which helped the guests decide on their poison to keep them partying till the early hours!

A wedding such as this needs to be followed by an equally beautiful and interesting thank you card so with that in mind we created a newspaper for Will & Cleo to send to all their guests as a reminder of the day and to thank them for making it so special.
