All our items are posted via Royal Mail from Stamford, U.K.
We dispatch to the delivery address that you supply when placing an order.
We will process and send your goods as quickly as possible within
seven business days, although usually within 1 – 5 business days. Personalised items have different delivery time frames as we make these products to order.
Basil & Ford is not responsible for local or international shipping delays such as holidays, strike days, or customs delays.
Basil & Ford is not responsible for any additional customs duties or taxes.
We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged shipments. The buyer assumes responsibility of claims made with the shipping carrier.

All our prices are in UK Pounds and include VAT. If you are ordering from outside the UK, Paypal will handle any currency conversions.
NEWSLETTER SIGN UP & YOUR DATA
When you sign up to our newsletter, we collect personal information. We use the information you provide for a couple of reasons: to tell you about what we have been up to; to share some rather fabulous special offers or to share some mighty fine news. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
Our newsletters are rarer than a seeing big foot on a wander in the woods. But when we do send them we use MailChimp and they’re jam packed with mighty fine things. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice.
You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails.
We store your order history within our website system that is run using Squarespace. We do not share this information with any third parties and we do not save your details into our mailing lists. To receive our mighty fine emails you have to sign up to our newsletter.

ACCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA
You are entitled to access the personal information that we hold. Email your request to email@example.com.
You have up until seven days of receipt of your order to cancel and return items, and must provide us with proof of postage within this time. Any items returned to us for refund must be in their original packaging, in as-new condition with no evidence of damage or use.
The customer will be responsible for shipping costs associated with the return of an item and we require that an item is returned to us via registered mail to enable us to track the return of the item. We take no responsibility for deliveries being returned
to us which go missing or are undelivered.
If the above conditions are met a full refund will be issued.
RETURNS POLICY FOR PERSONALISED ITEMS
Personalised or bespoke items that are specially made to order including those products made with your choice of map location, name, message or other customised elements that makes the item unique to you, cannot be resold and therefore are non-returnable unless faulty, in accordance with the Distance Selling and Online Trading Regulations
Cancellations are offered subject to our discretion. Please contact us to discuss if you wish to cancel an order at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If your item is damaged or faulty, you can return it to us but you must do so within 7 working days after the day on which you have received it. We cannot accept returns of bespoke or personalised items simply if you have a change of mind. All personalised items are made using the details you provide when placing the order. If these details were incorrect we cannot take responsibility for this error. If any errors are noticed after you have approved the PDF proof we cannot take responsibility for this error as you will have signed off the design before the making process commenced.
If you want to return a personalised item please send an email to email@example.com clearly detailing the following:
- Order reference number
- Your full name
- Daytime contact number
- Details of the product(s) you are wanting to return
- The reason you wish to return it
If we accept your reason to return it, we will raise a "Returns Authorisation" and email it to you. This email will detail the returns address. Please allow up to 2 working days from receipt of your email to receiving a response.
Refunds can only be made to the card or method you made the purchase with. We will aim to process refunds as soon as we can and in any event within 30 days of receipt of the product(s) returned.
Paper and Printing
Basil & Ford use high quality water based Daler-Rowney System 3 screen printing inks.
We source all our papers with consideration to the environment, and use recycled papers where possible and appropriate.
Unless stated our screen prints are run as open editions. This means they are hand screen printed in small batches, embossed with our logo and can be reprinted at any time.
